Hamstrings that work like rubber bands.

We are currently in Lockdown in Auckland, NZ. My role as a physio and running coach has morphed into being a house bound husband careering for our 2 kids. Otto, who is 5, is really into Lego and robots. He loves IRONMAN. Now we have a little Ironman set, however he is always wanting me to do something bigger and better.. (I also have a fondness for Lego). Hence in trying to create a super duper IRONMAN, it got me thinking again. I have for a long time really wanted to create some Lego models to help create a working template for people to see what is happening inside their bodys. As having that layer of skin is super super important, however it does disguise what is happening underneath.

The video above is lego creation proto type 2 . Disclaimer this is not 100% accurate. This is not exactly what happens in your leg. However, with regards to hamstring function being like a rubber band, then it is actually quite close. My question to you; does your hamstring function like a rubber band?

Running is a skill that can be taught. Paul helps to guide people through the process of improving your running form.
